Seville

I visited once many years ago, but didn't have memory back then, so didn't expect much. The main reason visiting this city was for Kylie Minogue concert. However, the visit was very nice. We entered the Cathedral and the Real Palace, and amazed with their beauties. The old city was also pretty.

Sightseeing

It was amazingly beautiful, especially the interior. 
We were first directed to climb the bell tower with amazing view.
We purchased the ticket online and was glad, otherwise we needed to queue in the hot weather.
Many rooms in the cathedral with statues and painting that made me mumbled wow so many times.

Real Alcazar de Seville

Another main tourist spot in Seville. We also purchase the ticket online with the entrance timing fixed.
It was so huge, with pretty big garden.

Setas de Seville

It is relatively new structure in the city, they said it was the biggest wooded structure in the world. There was I Love Seville letters to photo.

Kylie Minogue Concert (part of Iconica Music Festival) at Plaza de Espana

Iconica Santa Lucia Seville Festival is a yearly music festival, with international artists performing in different days. This year, Kylie Minogue performed the final show of the festival.

Chose this restaurant because of the location and Google Map Review (4.8).
Was happy with our choice, the tapas were delicious and the price was reasonable.

We came here recommended by other restaurant staff since we wanted to eat paeria.

Hotel

Booked with Booking.com. Beyond our expectation and recommended.
I thought it was only one apartment only, but the whole building is apartment hotel. So the reception is available for 24 hours. Possible to leave luggage. 
A single apartment big room for ourselves, completed with a bathroom, living, small kitchen (with required utensils). Even though the location is across the river, still walkable to the city center. Metro station is nearby. A big supermarket downstairs is very convenient.

Gibraltar and La Linea de La Concepcion

Visited on 15-16 July 2025  Gibraltar is under UK though located on the tip of Spain. The Spanish city in the border is La Linea de La Concepcion. The border has pedestrian crossing with passport check at both Spanish and UK side. At the Spanish side, there was shopping/restaurant arcade with Burger King and Mc Donald's. Since the cost in Gibraltar is much more expensive than La Linea, we decided to stay in La Linea and walk through the border to Gibraltar. Surprisingly, most shops closed early at about 5pm.  Upper Rock and the National Park We followed the sign to Upper Rock from the City Center.
