Dublin and Northern Ireland
Visited on 17-19 July 2025
Dublin
The old city is pretty with cobbled stone.
We just walked around and didn't enter places that needs tickets like cathedrals and castle. The Temple Street is pretty with the famous Temple Bar.
Guinness Storehouse

One of the most popular tourist spot in Dublin.
I bought the ticket online (EUR 26), it was a self-guided tour to factory-turned-museum of Guinness, the ticket included one glass of beer or soft drink.
River Dance Show at Gaiety Theater

We bought the ticket on the spot.
We really enjoyed the show, included not only Irish Dance, but also other tap dances, i.e. Flamenco and American style tap dance.
Day Trip to Northern Ireland (Belfast and Giant's Causeway)
Joined the day trip to Belfast and Giant's Causeway by Wild Dover tour company.
It was nice. I have been wanting to visit Giant's Causeway for long time after seeing its photo on internet.
Belfast
It was only about 2 hours stop. We joined a walk tour about an hour, started from the City Hall (toilet available) by a local guide, which was very good explaining the history of the city.

I was admiring the architectures of the city. After the walk, we had a free time to further walk around the city ourselves.
Giant's Causeway

It was amazing natural wander, more than what I saw in the photo in the internet.
There were two hiking courses to choose, the red and blue. We chose the red, which was the longer one and happy about it.
There were other shorter stops, in Bushmill (English village) and a ruin castle.
Transportation
We bought 72 hours all you can ride ticket called Leap Visitor Card at the supermarket in the airport for EUR 18 and was glad about it.
From the airport, normal public bus like number 16 is covered by the pass. Train to Howth is also covered.
