Sightseeing

West End Theaters
We watched a play called Stranger Things, based on the famous Netflix series.
There are so many performances to choose, too bad we didn't have time to watch.

Update for September 2025
I booked 4 shows, comparing below listed booking websites.
The price really varied between the websites, the shows, even the categories of ticket.
When I booked The Book of Mormon, Official London Theatre showed the cheapest for the seat I wanted to book, but when I booked The Devil Wears Prada, London Theatre Direct gave me the cheapest. For Hercules, the theater direct website gave me the cheapest.
Advance tickets booking websites I used for comparison:

Thames River South Bank Walk
We walked at night started from Big Ben (https://maps.app.goo.gl/UNuxcEoxePaJAhwo9), crossing the Westminster Bridge, walking along the south bank of the river, passing London Eye, till the Tower Bridge, then to our hotel in Brick Lane.
It was a nice walk at night and save. Only at one part, we couldn't walk at the river side.

Liked:
- Room was spacious with ensuite bathroom.
- Room with AC.
- Quiet at night.
- Many shops and restaurants (especially Bangladeshi nearby. Walkable to Liverpool street station.
Disliked:
- From outside, the hotel looked a bit rough with graffiti, but the room itself was bright, nice and clean.

Restaurant

Graam Bangla

Brick Lane Hotel is located in Bangladeshi town, as per my local friend, so decided to have dinner at Bangladeshi restaurant.
We chose this place because of Google Map review high rate and reasonable price.

Transportation
- We could use contactless payment (credit card) on public transportation (metro and bus).
- From Heathrow Airport to the city, Metro Piccadily Line is the cheapest.
- From Gatwick Airport to the city, we used Metro according to Google Map direction.
- From/to Stansted Airport, we booked in advance online Stansted Express, departed from Liverpool Street Station.
